What is the Mirakl Connector?

The Mirakl Connector bridges Akeneo’s SDM platform and Mirakl-based marketplaces. It automates the flow of product data between vendors and marketplaces.

Why Use It?

Managing vendor product data can be challenging. Vendors often submit incomplete or inconsistent data that requires extensive rework before it’s marketplace-ready. The Mirakl Connector resolves this by automating data validation, enrichment, and synchronization, reducing manual effort and ensuring smooth vendor onboarding.

What Does It Do?

  1. Pulls Vendor Data: Retrieves product data from Mirakl automatically based on schedules or triggers.
  2. Validates and Enriches: Runs validation rules and enrichment workflows in SDM to ensure data is complete and meets marketplace standards.
  3. Pushes Enriched Data: Sends validated and enhanced product information back to Mirakl, ready for listing.

How Does It Work?

Functional Flow:

  • Vendors Submit Data to Mirakl Vendors upload product details to Mirakl using the marketplace’s interface.
  • Data Pulled to SDM The Mirakl Connector retrieves this data via API and imports it into SDM for processing.

  • Data Validation and Enrichment

    • SDM applies predefined rules to check for completeness, accuracy, and formatting.
    • Any errors or missing fields are flagged for vendor correction or automatically enriched where possible.
    • Enriched Data Sent Back to Mirakl After processing, SDM syncs the updated data with Mirakl, making it live for marketplace listings.
    • Ongoing Updates Vendors can update specific fields (e.g., stock, pricing), and the connector ensures these changes are synchronized efficiently.
